Boy, have times changed! My nieces Kara and Jenna went over the weekend and got henna tattoos on their big beautiful bellies. They had a blast doing it and they are so cool looking! My niece Kara and her husband Josh are expecting their baby in May. We got together recently and did some maternity photos. They all turned out great. I can hardly wait to see their new baby boy when he arrives!

My friend that I went to Vegas with is a great wedding photographer in Ft. Myers, FL. While in Vegas she had arranged a wedding shoot with a couple who live there, whose wedding she is photographing in May in Florida. We all went to the most amazing place called Valley of Fire which is located north of Vegas for a great afternoon! The weather was perfect and we got a lot of beautiful shots. Here are few of mine. Tara and Brandon were so much fun and had a great time.

I just got home from another wonderful photography conference in Las Vegas. It is held by Wedding and Portrait Photographers International. People from literally every part of the world attend this conference. It was a busy, busy week, but we did get out on the strip for a few photos! Hope you enjoy them.

On our last day in Phoenix we made a trip to the Desert Botanical Gardens. They were having a Chihuly glass exhibit, Chihuly: The Nature of Glass. If you have never seen his work, it is amazing! It is blown glass shaped in forms that are intended to blend with nature. It was one of the highlights of our trip! If you have ever been to Las Vegas, he also has a ceiling sculpture at the Bellagio. I can't describe how beautiful the sculptures looked in the desert setting against the most amazingly blue sky, with light reflecting everywhere. Enjoy!

Whew - what a week! All last week I was in Phoenix, Arizona attending a photography convention. We stayed busy attending seminars and a wonderful tradeshow with all the newest products. It was part of Imaging USA, a convention I try to go to every year. I did squeeze in a few minutes to get some photos of the area. I had never been to Arizona before, so seeing all the cactus and mountains was amazing. We took a drive up to Sedona, where all the red rock is. Very beautiful! Hope you enjoy the photos!
