Warsaw, IN family photographer

Posted by Deb on Thursday, January 21, 2010 in
My niece Amber and her family were over for photos earlier this week.  Drew is leaving for Afghanistan soon and they wanted some family photos before he left.  I'm sure he will be missed a lot by everyone and a big thank you to him for serving our country!

Nashville, Tennessee

Posted by Deb on Saturday, January 16, 2010 in
I was in Nashville Tennessee last week attending Imaging USA, a photography conference I go to each year.  Even though the weather was the same there as here . . . COLD, we had a great time.  So many good speakers and tons of new ideas.  Nothing better than hanging out with a group of photographers and talking photography for a whole week!!  We did squeeze in a tour of the city and stopped at the Ryman Auditorium and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.  The tradeshow was held at Gaylord Opryland, which was unbelievable!  And no trip to Nashville would be complete without a trip downtown to hear some good old country music!

Indian Wedding on Captiva Island, Florida

Posted by Deb on Monday, November 16, 2009 in

A couple of weeks ago I was in Florida helping my good friend Doreen Kline photograph a double Indian wedding.  We started out with photos of the girls getting the traditional henna on their hands.  It was amazing to watch all the work and detail that went into the tattooing process.  After the henna paste dries, it flakes off and leaves a beautiful design on the skin which can last up to several weeks. The girls and a majority of the guests looked beautiful in their colorful sari's.  Lots more photos of the wedding to come.

I got together with Nate & Brie and their adorable boys for some family photos.  Wow, talk about beautiful brown eyes!  They were great to work with.  Here is a slideshow of the rest of their photos.
